I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and psychotherapist who has been practicing for some twenty-five years now. I consider myself an integrative therapist which really means that I value the importance of being holistically oriented and comprehensive in my work with clients and to issues around anxiety, depression, relationships, and trauma.  Much of anxiety and depression are trauma-based so I am trained and certified in several trauma modalities such as EMDR, Parts therapy, IFS, hypnotherapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. My aim is to help individuals empower themselves, free themselves to become their conscious, peaceful, expanded, “connected” selves.  I’m the kind of therapist that works with clients to target both the importance of coping with the daily complexities of their issues while also working to heal and resolve the underlying reason the problem, pattern, disturbance, or source of distress and to gain a different and expanded perspective.  

 I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in urban studies, a master’s degree in mental health counseling and counseling education as well as state licensure in Ohio and Florida.  I am certified as both a clinical and spiritual regression hypnotherapist. However, my real expertise comes from my own journey, healing and re-connecting with my heart and peace.
